Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei, strongly condemned the Israeli drone attack on a ship, which was carrying food and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip in international waters of Malta.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has become critical. For over 60 days, no ships carrying food, humanitarian aid, or fuel have reached the Gaza Strip. Many children and families are facing famine.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has waged a devastating war on Gaza, the war in which the U.S. backs and now has been more intense after the Israeli bearch of cesefire with Hamas resistance group, is going on with the help the Trump administration's plan of forceful relocation of Gaza people to Egypt and Jordan. So far, over 50,000 people have been massacred in the Israeli strikes.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman addressed the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the bombings and deliberate imposition of famine on the residents. He stated, "The attack on the ship named 'Vajdan,' which aligns with the colonial genocide occurring in Gaza, is a blatant crime against the Palestinian people and constitutes a terrorist act against maritime security and safety."
