Tehran (IP) - Saudi Arabia's deputy foreign minister, Waleed Al-Khuraiji, is set to travel to Tehran soon, according to Abdullah bin Saud al-Anzi, the Saudi ambassador to Iran.

Iran Press/ West Asia: In an interview with Al-Sharq, the Saudi envoy revealed that a delegation from the Saudi Export Development Organization will be visiting Iran next week to participate in the Iran Expo 2024.

Additionally, Mohammad Al-Otaibi has been appointed as the new Consul-General of Saudi Arabia in Mashahd, with his mission expected to commence within the next two weeks.

Furthermore, the ambassador mentioned that approximately 6,000 Iranian pilgrims are expected to travel to Mecca for Umrah pilgrimage in the coming days, ahead of the Hajj season.
