Tuzla (IP) - A memorial service for Mowlana Jala al-Din Muhammad Balkhi known as Rumi was held in the city of Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Iran PressEurope: On the occasion of Rumi's commemoration day (September 30), a special ceremony was held in Tuzlai with the presence of people interested in Iranian culture, literature, and poetry.

Tuzla is the third-largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the administrative center of Tuzla Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mowlana is the most famous mystic Persian poet in the world. He was parted from the reed bed in Balkh and was united with his source in Konya.

Mowlana Jala al-Din Muhammad Balkhi is most well-known under the name of Rumi and was called Mowlana by his close disciples: the most famous Persian language poet who transcended the borders of nations with his poetry and poetry mysticism.

According to Izet Pajović, a Theologian and University Professor in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rumi is a spiritual teacher for all times and his works are an ever-lasting source of inspiration for people.

Rumi explained that 'Mawlawi's Masnavi' (One of his major works ) can provide an interpretation of the path shown by Prophet Mohammad.

Mawlawi's Masnavi Manavi is the most important mystical poem of the Persian language and literature. 

During the ceremony, an exhibition showcasing calligraphy works of Rumi's poems was presented.

In this ceremony, the Spanish translation of the book "step by step until meeting god" by Abdul Hossein Zarinkoub, an Iranian writer, was unveiled.
