Iran Press/ Iran News: During the meeting of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus, Rouhani stated on Sunday that low-risk businesses will start their work on Farvardin 30 (April 18). Any low-risk business that is going to start its work should receive a code from the system related to the Ministry of Health.
A decision is also to be made for high-risk businesses in the future, and whenever our plan is ready, we can implement it with specific protocols, Rouhani added.
People in big cities better to use their own vehicles, Snapp or taxis
He pointed out that vehicles in public transport can only carry passengers based on the number of seats, the president said, "It is better that people in Tehran and big cities use their own vehicles, Snapp or taxis."
He added: “It has been agreed with the Ministry of Health that any public transport that wants to operate, such as subway, bus or anything else, must be disinfected at the beginning of their work and at the end of their work in a day. Drivers must wear masks and gloves.”
Referring to the possible restrictions on holding religious ceremonies during the holy month of Ramadan, the President said, "People have various ceremonies during the month of Ramadan. However, if the situation in the country is the same as it is today, we will not have a public gathering or religious ceremony, and people will have to use radio and television this month."
Iran has two viruses of Corona and sanctions
Referring to the comparison reports between Iran and some European countries, Rouhani said, "There is a great gap between these reports and the situation of Iran and Europe. For example, the death toll in Iran is very low at 7 percent, while in some European countries it was 22 percent. Some do not like this comparison to say that Iran’s situation is better than Europe."
President Rouhani reiterated, "Our situation is better than European countries in countering Coronavirus and the reason for that is our IRIB, our armed forces, our artists who are all together, and you don't have this option.”
The President added, "Yes, we have coronavirus. You also have it. We also have another virus that you do not have, and that is sanctions. We had the sanctions virus, to which the Coronavirus was added, you did not have sanctions, you have a virus, but we have two viruses, but our people resisted so well. This is an honor for all of us, we are relatively good against the coronavirus comparing to some countries. This is the reality. Contact the Iranian people and compare the people's situation with your own."
Hassan Rouhani further stated that "In this difficult time, lawyers, the central bank and the Foreign Ministry have been successful in a legal battle, releasing $ 1.6 billion of our blocked money in Luxembourg, which was seized by the Americans. This was done by our lawyers in these difficult circumstances to unfrozen the money that belongs to the people of Iran and belongs to the Central Bank. Although they themselves are battling with the virus and are well aware of our problems, they are increasing their pressure every day, and this inhumane act will be recorded in their history forever.
