Iran news: According to Iran Press, "The Iranian people follow the one born in Mecca. Our path is clear; we consider the neighbors as our brothers and security of the region as in line with our own; we stretch the hand of friendship to all Muslims. The Islamic Republic of Iran wishes unification, unity, blessing and prudence and accessing such values, which will be attainable by all only under the umbrella of Holy Prophet (PBUH)," President Rouhani said on Sunday in a meeting, in which Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received guests to the 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference.
Also present in the meeting taking place on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) and the 6th Shia Imam Jaafar Sadiq (AS), were ambassadors of Muslim countries, Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani and Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, and the state and military officials.
The President congratulated the Leader, the world Muslims, Iranians and the audience on the auspicious occasions and said the birth taking place in Mecca in the wee hours of today morning is that of the one who is distinguished as the last beam of the prophetic light cast on the mankind.
He said promotion of unity, blessing and prudence is the only way for salvation of Muslims and the Muslim World against plots of enemies and the arrogance and emphasized that the great Iranian people follow the Holy Prophet of Islam and does not fear the least from threats of powers, blasphemy and injustice phobia.

Elsewhere in his address, the Iranian president referred to the sanctions against Iran and said today, a group of 'demagogue' persons, who raise nonsense words and nobody accepts their logic, have started sanctioning to force a great nation and affect their lives.
"Our path in the face of such Christian, Jewish and regional racists is clear," said the president, adding that today, a group of extremists are now in the region under the guise of Christians, Jews and Muslims, and have brought the forged Zionist regime to power through a racist ideology, and daily massacre of Palestinians and bombarding the oppressed Yemeni people.
"The question is how these have found themselves and how the cowboys have allied themselves with the camel riders?" Rouhani wondered.
He said the enemies of Iranian people want just one thing from Iranians and they do not mind the nuclear issue or the Iran nuclear deal, known as the JCPOA, rather they want to do whatever they wish in the region, expecting us to turn a blind eye to them.
"They say, if we did injustice to Iraq and Afghanistan and turned Syrian and North Africa insecure, you should not pay heed and keep silent instead," he added.
"They want us not to be supportive of the oppressed in the face of the Takfiris who seek to dominate the region," he said. 203/103
