Iran press/Iran: President Rouhani emphasised strong continuation of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) way and stated that the government renews allegiance to the ideals of the late Imam Khomeini to take stronger steps in serving the great Iranian nation steadier than before.
Speaking at the ceremony of renewing allegiance to Imam Khomeini’s ideals on Saturday, President Hassan Rouhani said: “In Government’s Week, we want to renew allegiance to the ideals of the late Imam Khomeini”.
He added: “Today, we are beginning the 2nd year of the 12th Government between the two great festivals of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadir and we hope that we can follow the path of our dear and great Imam Khomeini (RA)”.
Stating that in the current situations of the country, region and the world, there is a need to reiterate Imam Khomeini’s words and way, Dr Rouhani added: “Our dear, great Imam Khomeini taught us the way of hope and his entire words were about hope in the future”.
“If our late Imam did not have hope, he couldn’t endure 10 months of confinement with high spirits and if he wasn’t hopeful, he couldn’t take 14 years of exile,” he continued.
“Imam Khomeini know that the great Iranian nation, with their ancient culture and faith in God and the spirit of devotion, can overcome all issues and problems. The late Imam would call on all classes, ethnic groups and tastes to stand together,” added the President.
Today, our dear Iran is experiencing another hard day because of the conspiracies of the enemies, Rouhani, saying: “Despite all these problems, Imam Khomeini’s path can save the country and people, and as the late Imam relied on people, his righteous successor relies on people as well”.
Dr Rouhani also added: “Today is not a day to put our burden on somebody else’s shoulders and believing that one can separate themselves from others is a great mistake”.
“Nobody can step in the sea and expect his foot to be dry, or worse, step in the sea and deny that his foot has become wet. Therefore, we must stand together in tackling problems and conspiracies of the enemies,” he added.
President of the Islamic Republic of Iran also went on to say: “Without a doubt, we will be able to overcome all issues by unity and solidarity”.

The president said: “In the week ahead, the projects that are to be launched and the efforts made over the past year should be explained to the people,” stating that in the Government’s Week, we expect all officials to explain the efforts of the past year to the people.
Stating that the government is aware of problems of the people, Dr Rouhani stated: "All of our efforts are to reduce the pain and problems of the people, and we have no doubt that we can overcome problems through unity, solidarity and endurance".
“As we were able to neutralize the Zionist lobby in the Senate and US House of Representatives, we could also neutralize US plots in the United Nations Security Council hall and clear their allegations against Iran in the world's public opinion and thwart their plots at the IAEA, this nation will well be able to overcome all sorts of problems,” added the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
