According to Islamic Lunar calendar , 25th of month of Shawwal marks the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jafar Sadiq(PbUH) who is the sixth Imam of Shia Muslims. He was known as the founder of Ja'fari School of Thought which has had great impact on reviving and safeguarding true genuine Islam.
At the present time one can fight against the other deviant schools of thoughts such as Takfiri ideas through full obedience of Imam Jafar Sadiq's ideas and teachings. These ideas also serve as best tool for guiding all of human beings and can lead human societies towards real happiness and prosperity.
According to Imam Jafar Sadiq(Pbuh), the most important moral principles in preaching will include: knowing the audience as well as respecting them, taking advantage of Today's language ,in preaching,practical invitation through right deeds with all respect and at the right time all of which are also required today for promulgation of Islam.
The scientific attitude and hard efforts of Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him ) finally led to the development of Islamic sciences and his fame spread all across the Muslim world.
Martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja'far Sadiq ( peace be upon him) will be observed in different parts of Iran including the holy cities of Mashhad and Qom and Isfahan.
