Iran Press/ Africa: The agreement to return to the democratic and civilian government in Sudan was signed on Monday in the presence of Sudan's army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and various political groups, including the FFC.
Sudan has seen a lot of tension after the military coup of Abdel Fattah al-Burhan in 2021.
People have demonstrated almost every week in Khartoum and other cities, emphasizing the withdrawal of the Sudanese military from power and the establishment of a popular and democratic government.
In an interview with Iran Press correspondent in Khartoum, Jafar Hassan said: Justice in Sudan is considered one of the most fundamental issues for the people and political groups, adding that the realization of it requires the implementation of the provisions of the agreement between the Sudanese parties and the military and support for the establishment of governmental and civilian bodies in Sudan.
According to Jafar Hassan, the most important challenge of the agreement is to adhere to the provisions of the agreement and how to form a broad popular movement to form a democratic and civil government in Sudan.
The most important guarantee of the agreement signed with the military for the formation of a new Sudan and a democratic and civilian government is the support of the revolutionary, political and social forces for the agreement, the FFC spokesman underscored.
