Iranian lawmakers condemn the United States and its' allies attacks on Syrian soil.

Iranian lawmakers have unequivocally condemned air and missile strikes by US, UK and France against Syria, describing the military aggression as an illegal act which has taken place in support of terrorists.

The US, Britain and France launched missile strikes on a number of targets in Syria in response to an alleged chemical attack in the Damascus' suburb of Douma, Eastern Ghouta.  Western countries have blamed  Damascus for the alleged chemical attack, despite the fact that OPCW (Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) has launched a probe into the incident, and is yet to  announce its findings.

The missile strikes that took place before a UN team of experts started their investigations into the alleged gas attack has angered members of the UN Security Council as it was done without UN authorization, and outside the framework and charter of the United Nations.
