Iran Press/ Iran news: On Saturday evening, Ebrahim Raisi, in a phone conversation with Jonas Gahr Støre, the Prime Minister of Norway, welcomed the country's position in stopping the war and the killing of civilians in Gaza as soon as possible, and stressed the need for international efforts to lift the siege and provide immediate aid to the region.
He added: "A child is killed in Gaza almost every 10 minutes, a clear example of a crime against humanity, genocide and very horrifying, and the disgusting silence and even the support of weapons and sending equipment from the US and some European countries to the Zionist regime is proof of the double standards of the West and the obvious complicity of these countries in the crimes of the Zionists."
The President also welcomed the readiness of the Ministry of Justice of Norway to investigate the war crimes in Gaza and announced the readiness of our country to cooperate in this field and stressed that the war crimes of the Zionist regime and the American support for these crimes should not go unpunished.
Saying that Hamas is the legal, elected, and legitimate government of Gaza, Raisi clarified that war with Hamas is war with democracy.
Raisi described the death of 10,000 people, including 4,000 Palestinian children, as the result of the large-scale shipment of weapons and equipment by the United States to the Zionist regime, and added, "A child is killed in Gaza almost every 10 minutes, a clear example of a crime against humanity, genocide and very horrifying, and the disgusting silence and even the support of weapons and sending equipment from the US and some European countries to the Zionist regime is proof of the double standards of the West and the obvious complicity of these countries in the crimes of the Zionists".
Referring to the issuance of at least 180 resolutions against the Zionist regime in the United Nations, the President pointed out the ineffectiveness of these resolutions in changing the behavior and actions of the Zionist regime and said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran has presented a democratic and fair solution to the Palestinian issue based on the idea of every Palestinian, which was also registered in the United Nations".
In another part of this conversation, referring to the long list of hundreds of women and ordinary citizens who have been killed or tortured by the police of America, England, France, and some other Western countries without any valid reason, Raisi said, "Without taking the slightest action to deal with such anti-human rights actions in their own countries, by resorting to biased news and reports of certain groups, Western countries make cases for other countries and accuse them of human rights violations".
In this conversation, the President demanded that the European countries claiming human rights investigate human rights violations in Europe and America.
In this telephone conversation, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre stated that the world is in a complicated situation and stated, "Norway is aware of the important and effective role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region and appreciates your efforts in the field of controlling tensions, and we want to interact with Iran to find new ways to resolve the Palestinian crisis".
Stating that his country insists on the immediate cessation of violence and conflicts, the Prime Minister of Norway added, "Iran and Norway can consult and cooperate by using diplomatic channels to find a solution to immediately stop the conflicts, lift the siege and provide aid to the people in Gaza".
