Iran Press/ America: Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has established good relations with some countries in the Latin American region, such as Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, and Bolivia, which have a long history of fighting imperialism and global arrogance led by the United States.
In recent years, the relations between Iran and the progressive countries of Latin America have always been on the rise and these relations have been expanding in political, economic, commercial, industrial, energy, medical and other fields.
Therefore, Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, left Tehran for Caracas on a three-day trip to Latin American countries, including Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba, on Monday.
In this regard, and according to Iran Press news agency, "Seyd Ebrahim Raisi", the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Wednesday, in the final part of his travel plans to Nicaragua, in a joint press conference with the president of this country, stating that relations with independent countries are always among the priorities of Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign politics saying: " If the will of the nations is respected all over the world and the domineering powers do not show arbitrariness toward the people's vote and allow the people's vote and will to be realized, the situation in the world will be different."
Emphasizing that the people's resistance, seeking justice, and freedom-seeking activities has made the dominators passive and pushed them back, Raisi stated: This is what has happened today in many countries of the Latin American region against the domineering system and avarice of the United States and its supporters.
The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran pointed out that the world order will definitely change in favor of the resistance movement and independent countries, and continued: "Cooperation between Latin American countries and other independent countries in different regions can create an alliance that can neutralize the sanctions and increases the capacity of independent countries."
Raisi added:" Iran has achieved considerable progress in the scientific, technical-engineering, health, medical, and pharmaceutical fields despite the sanctions and widespread threats."
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran also referred to obtaining memorandums of understanding for the exchange of capacities and the use of mutual facilities between Iran and Nicaragua in order to improve the level of bilateral relations, commercial and economic cooperation, exchange of experiences, and scientific and technological achievements, the issuance of technical-engineering services and health services, called treatment, medicine, and health among the most important areas agreed upon by the two countries for cooperation.
