Iran Press/ Iran news: The holy shrine defender martyrs commemoration ceremony was held on August 9, 2023.
In this ceremony, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that the US and Israel were trying to demolish regional security with their plots.
He stressed: "We owe whatever we have to martyrs."
He reiterated: "Iran maintains security wherever it goes."
Raisi said: "Martyr's message is resistance against enemies and their threats."
Government determined to stop dress code violation
Regarding the concerns of the families of Shrine Defender Martyrs (those who lost their lives in the fight against ISIS to protect people) about the violation of hijab in the country, Iran's President says the government is determined to confront those elements who systematically violate the Iranian dress code, hijab.
He promised that the hijab-violation campaign would be stopped, saying: "They [enemies] have stepped in with a plan, and we must step in with a plan, too."
President Raisi recalled that the current power of Iran owes itself to the self-sacrifices of the martyrs and that the power achieved must be protected.
He called the culture of self-sacrifice and martyrdom in the fight against oppression and injustice the grounds being prepared for the reappearance of the Promised Savior, Imam Mahdi (AS), and new Islamic civilization.
