Iran Press/ Iran news: "Friendly relations exist between Iran and Angola, but the level of economic and commercial interactions between the two sides is not proportional to this relationship and mutual capacities," said Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
During the ceremony of receiving the letter of credence of the accredited Ambassador of the Republic of Angola, President Raisi wished Martins Patricio success in his mission in Tehran on Sunday, adding that there are diverse and numerous capacities between the two countries, which are the responsibility of the ambassadors and officials of the two countries to identify, activate and exchange these capacities to expand interactions and cooperations between the two countries.
Pointing to the suitable capacities and fields for expanding relations between Angola and Iran, accredited Ambassador of the Republic of Angola Martins Patricio said he would try to expand Angola's cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Republic of Angola is located in southern Africa and is the seventh-largest country on the continent. Angola shares borders with Namibia to the south, Zambia to the east, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the northeast and north, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. Luanda is the most populous city and the capital of Angola.
