Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at the administrative council meeting in Baharestan County, Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi said the Takaya, places where people mourn during Muharram on Imam Hussein's (PBUH) martyrdom anniversary, and religious assets are considered treasures for Islamic Iran which can safeguard the youth.
Every year for more than a thousand years, in the first month of the Islamic lunar calendar called Muharram, Muslims and liberated humans from around the world, commemorate the jihad and martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad's grandson Imam Hussein and his companions, in the deserts of Karbala, in the event known as Ashura.
He further explained that thanks to such treasure and in the shadow of the guidance of Imam Hossein (PBUH) the youth could be safe and could be immune from the cultural invasion.
President Raisi urged meeting the cultural and economic needs of the people.
