Tehran (IP) - Iran's Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli underlined that the bill on protecting women against violence is of great importance.

Iran PressIran news: On the sideline of the 124th meeting of the Social Council in Tehran, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli emphasized on the importance of the bill of protecting women against violence, reiterating that the judiciary has drafted a bill to protect women from violence and has sent it to the government.

"The bill has significant points and is promising," he stressed.

Iran's Interior Minister expressed the hope that based on the expert opinions, the necessary amendments would be made to the bill, and then the bill would be sent to the Parliament to become law.

"Freedom, respect, and protection of women's rights are one of the great values of the Islamic Republic of Iran," the high ranking official added. 104
