Iran Press/Iran news: The Secretary of the 18th Fajr International Poetry edition said: In 30 provinces and 33 cities, the competition of provincial poets is held, and in this competition, 8 selected poets of the province compete with each other.
Attending the 18th Fajr International Poetry edition, Alireza Ghazveh stated: Every three nights, one poet is selected and at the end, 8 selected people compete against each other.
He further reiterated: In the poetry book field, more than 2,600 works were sent regarding classics, half-life, and children's poetry, and the judges made special reviews.
He underlined that the winners will be introduced on Wednesday this week in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili.
"These achievements of this year are honorable and valuable efforts that are worthy of appreciation," he went on to conclude.
Ali Ramezani, the CEO of Iran Book and Literature House also attended the 18th Fajr International Poetry Festival press briefing.
