Iran Press/ Iran News: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, in a message to his Indonesian counterpart, Joko Widodo, congratulated him on the anniversary of the Indonesia's Independence.
Raisi expressed hope that considering the important role of the Republic of Indonesia in maintaining international peace and stability and supporting the ideal of non-alignment and confronting unilateralism, the friendly cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Indonesia would be noticeable in the light of the political will of the leaders, and using the capacities and capabilities of the two countries should be further developed.
Diplomatic relations between Iran and Indonesia, which started in 1950, have always been warm and friendly.
