Tehran (IP) - Iran's President said on the anniversary of marking Imam Khomeini's demise that "wherever we were distrustful of the enemy, we made progress."

Iran PressIran news: Ebrahim Raisi on Friday night and on the occasion of the anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini, in his mausoleum, noted: "We are in the month of Dhi Al-Qaeda. It begins with the birth of Hazrat Masoumeh(as), and then with the birth of our blessed Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (AS), which this 10 day is called 10-day dignity."

Referring to the dignity of Imam Khomeini, he added: "Some people consider dignity to mean forgiveness or some people know forgiveness before questioning, but forgiveness is a manifestation of dignity and not dignity itself; because dignity has a broader meaning than this, dignity is the center of divine love and leads man to the donation of wealth, and honor."

The President said: "God has given dignity to all human beings and the human being has the highest position among all creatures and has dignity."

The President stated: "Imam Khomeini has not invited anyone toward himself anywhere, but he has completely invited all to God, and he attributed every victory to God, like the conquest of Khorramshahr, where he said that God liberated Khorramshahr."

Raisi added: "The second manifestation of Imam's dignity was trust and belief in the people and the Imam always stressed the people's vote as benchmark for evaluating the management of the officials and Islamic rulers. At the beginning of the revolution, MKO terrorist group wrote at the beginning of the letters "in the name of God" and "in the name of the heroic people", but Martyr Motahhari said that only in "the name of God", but do not forget that the way to reach God passes through the people."

The President said: "Imam Khomeini always paid attention to the people, especially to the oppressed and deprived, and always went in the direction of anti-colonialism and arrogance, because whoever works for God will never be oppressed, and this issue can also be seen in the life of the Imams."

He emphasized that the fight against oppression and corruption can be seen in the way of life of the Imams, stating: "This way of life can be found in the way and method of the Imam and he never came to terms with oppression and also the Imam had mixed politics with spirituality."

The President elsewhere said: "If we want to consider a document for the Islamic Revolution, the document of the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution is the most important and valuable document, and if there are any delays, they must be eliminated."

Raisi pointed out: "Everywhere in the country, the words and instructions of the Imam and the Leader were heeded, and the officials were always self-confident and distrustful of their enemies, The country has progressed, but wherever it is looked to foreigners, there are backwardnesses."

The high-ranking official went on to say that the scientific progress of the country has even reached the point where different countries, such as Tajikistan, used Iran's sciences at the level of higher education.

"At one time we lost about 700 people due to corona outbreak, but with confidence inside today we have been able to control this disease, which has reduced the death toll to zero," the president said.

The president stated: "Imam Khomeini taught us to first rely on God and secondly to have self-confidence and confidence in the victory that will be given to us by God."

The President underlined that he was hopeful for the future and the future was definitely bright, and this could be obtained from the guidelines and guidance of the Leader of the Revolution and the Imam.

Saying that many people trusted the Imam and his movement but had doubts, Raisi said: "People were saying how can Imam Khomeini stand against the world with empty hands?" But the Imam proved that the Islamic Revolution can be achieved by trusting and believing in God.

He concluded: "Today we witness that the White House spokesman explicitly states that maximum pressure on Iran has failed."
