Despite all the threats and sanctions improvised by the West, the Iranian nation is witnessing growth in various sectors, he said. Elsewhere in his speech, Raisi referred to the Iranian international nuclear agreement, JCPOA, and pointed out that Iran has reasonable demands and never leaves the negotiation table, but it never trusts the Western party.

Iran's international nuclear agreement or the so-called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was signed between the country and P5+1 countries (Russia, China, UK, Germany, France, and the US) in 2015, to lift the West's sanctions on Iran, but the US scrapped it on May 18, 2018, re-imposing more sanctions on Iran.

"Our main task in this regard is to neutralize the [West's] sanctions. We're looking for it anyway because we've witnessed the [Western] party's violations. They are breakers of the covenants. They have time and again violated their agreements during the two-year activities of the current administration," he recalled.

According to the agreement, Iran was supposed to curb some of its legal nuclear activities, and the other side was supposed to lift sanctions on the Iranian nation. The Western parties did not fulfill their commitments to the deal contrary to Iran, which began to carry out the obligations and fulfilled them.
