Iran Press/ Middle East: In an operation in Iraq's Mosul, the capital of Nineveh Province, PMU hunted and killed some ISIL elements, including their Wali (ruler) in the province, Yaser Hossein, the PMU deputy operational chief announced.
The operation was launched in two stages; in the first stage, four ISIL elements were killed and another one was captured while fleeing.
During the investigations, the ISIL member revealed that there are three ISIS headquarters in the region. PMU forces also found the so-called Wali of ISIL terror outfit in Nineveh Province and killed him, the commander highlighted.
As the commander said that a large number of weapons and six explosive belts were confiscated during the operation.
