Iran Press/ West Asia: According to Iran press citing the Palestine Al-Yum news site, Ihsan Ataya, a member of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, said on Thursday that the establishment of the Islamic Jihad was a ray of hope on the path to the liberation of Palestine. Islamic Jihad will be inclined towards any side that shouts slogans against the Zionist regime and America.
Stating that the Zionist regime is not only the enemy of the Palestinian nation, Ataya added that a large coalition led by the United States is the enemy of this nation. The Zionist enemy exiled a number of Jihad commanders to Lebanon, but we were able to expand Jihad in Beirut and Damascus as well.
This Islamic Jihad official pointed out that the Zionists occupied the Palestinian land by killing, and stated that the Zionist regime, being present in the Palestinian land, is looting the resources of the entire region.
Ataya emphasized that the American government is on the other side of Israel and therefore we cannot establish a relationship with it. But our relationship with Iran, Syria and Hezbollah is a critical point in our military training and performance improvement.
During the past months, the Islamic Republic of Iran hosted various Palestinian resistance groups such as the Islamic Jihad movement and the Hamas movement. The officials of Hamas and Islamic Jihad had different meetings with the officials of Iran and had a discussion and exchange of views about the latest political and field developments related to Palestine.
