Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated today (Wednesday) at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport before traveling to Tajikistan: During the trip to Tajikistan, joint documents on cooperation in the fields of water, agriculture, science, culture, industry, trade, transportation, and mining will be signed, and we will try to expand our ties with this country.
Iran's President emphasized that the trip to Russia and Tajikistan is being made in response to the official invitation of the presidents of the two countries.
Pezeshkian added: During the trip to Russia, a comprehensive strategic document related to economic, scientific, industrial, agricultural, and security issues will also be signed.
Iran's President stated that the signing of comprehensive cooperation documents with other neighboring countries is being pursued, adding: Such a document will also be signed with Iraq and will be carried out to improve relations, transfer experiences, and ultimately, greater coordination and cooperation between the countries of the region.
Pezeshkian emphasized that by continuing to expand relations in the fields of transportation, energy, culture, science, and industry in the region, we can solve our problems, and the pressures that the United States is trying to exert against countries in the region will be neutralized on their own.
The President and the accompanying delegation will then travel to Moscow, the capital of Russia, on Friday.
During these visits, Pezeshkian will sign numerous memorandums of understanding and agreements, meet with economic activists and businessmen of the two countries, and hold talks with them.
In Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, the President will meet and hold talks separately with the President, Speaker of the Parliament, and Prime Minister of the country.
