Iran Press/ Iran news: The anniversary of the expulsion of the Portuguese colonists from the southern waters of Iran in 1622 is named the National Persian Gulf Day in the Iranian calendar.
Four centuries ago, on this day, Iranians with their resistance expelled the Portuguese colonists from the Persian Gulf.
With the realization of this historical epic, so far no foreign power has been able to encroach on the Persian Gulf.
