On Wednesday, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the resistance committees in Palestine, the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, and the Palestine Liberation Movement signed a joint statement emphasizing the need to adhere to the aforementioned agreements and to integrate the efforts of the Palestinian parties to achieve the goals of these agreements.

Iran PressWest Asia: The statement added that the Palestinian national groups insist on the necessity of reforming the structure of the Palestinian political system and the Palestine Liberation Organization to ensure the presence of all national parties within the framework of this organization.

The Palestinian groups aim to help realize the aspirations of the Palestinian nation in forming an independent Palestinian state with Quds as its capital, by calling for popular mobilization in all arenas, squares, and capitals to stop the genocide in Gaza and Palestine urgently and to support Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque against the terrorist actions of the Zionist regime and Zionist settlers.

By supporting the heroic resistance operations in the West Bank, holy Quds, and the occupied territories of Palestine in 1948, the four mentioned Palestinian groups asked the Palestinian resistance in these areas to intensify their all-encompassing resistance operations while supporting resistance fighters against arrest attempts.

US President Joe Biden, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued a joint statement last week calling for the resumption of ceasefire talks that will begin tomorrow (Thursday) in Doha.

Earlier, a Hamas senior official Sohail Hindi told the media that the movement would not be part of the upcoming talks scheduled in Doha or Cairo in the upcoming days.
