Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 2,555,587 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 2,004,949 of the total infected people had recovered.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 03, 2021, 391 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 72,875.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 20,732 cases, out of whom 3,009 patients were hospitalized.

5,461 COVID-19 patients are in ICUs and are in critical condition.

So far, 16,240,345 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 198 cities are classified as red zones, 157 as orange, 84 as yellow, and 9 as blue zones.

So far, 1,026,369 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 225,530 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 1,251,899 doses.
