In a meeting with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Murat Abugaliuly Nurtileu, on Saturday, Iranian President Masoud Pezehkian addressed indirect Iran-U.S. negotiations and concerns about Iran's nuclear program, reiterating that Iran has consistently demonstrated its peaceful intentions and never accepts bullying and coercion.

Why it matters:

Since the Soviet Union's collapse, Iran and Kazakhstan have maintained strong relations as trading partners. However, sanctions against Iran's nuclear program have hindered the expansion of its trade and economic ties.

What the Iranian president is saying:

While we are ready for inspections, we consider any deprivation of nations from knowledge, technology, and scientific achievements unacceptable.

We will not accept that others make decisions for us. The Islamic Republic of Iran is always ready to listen to rational words, but will never accept bullying and coercion.

Muslim nations can create a future based on development, progress, and prosperity for their societies by sharing their capacities.

What Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister is saying:

Kazakhstan has a serious will to strengthen relations with Iran in all areas.

Iran has a legitimate right to use peaceful nuclear technology.

Iran's efforts to reform in various fields will undoubtedly lead to the development, prosperity, and progress of the great nation of Iran.
