Tehran(IP)-The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Operation True Promise was carried out in the framework of maintaining regional peace and security and in no way, did Tehran seek to fuel crisis and war in the region.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at his weekly presser on Monday morning and just some days away from explosions in Isfahan the  Spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanaani Monday said about "Operation True Promise": "Iran took preventive action against a regime that does not adhere to any obligations and regulations, and more than 30 phone calls were made during this period. "

Kanaani further noted: " What Iran did was a legitimate and deterrent action against an aggressor regime. Iran carried out this operation in the framework of maintaining regional peace and security and in no way, Tehran seeks to fuel crisis and war in the region."

Iran's top diplomat further stated that two military and intelligence centers were targeted. No economic targets and none of the residential targets or ordinary citizens were targeted.

He then added: "The operation has ended and Iran is seeking to establish stability and peace in the region, and Iran will give a decisive and stronger response if another aggressive action is taken from any source or if anyone helps this regime."

Isfahan incident; act of sabotage; fruitless for enemies

The spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the Isfahan incident a move aiming at carrying out sabotage foiled by Iran's defense system with enemies gaining nothing out of it.

Just some days away from explosions in Isfahan the Spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kanaani said about the incident: "It was an act of sabotage."

He further stated: " The move was aimed at carrying out a sabotage, which was foiled by Iran's defense, and the enemy could not and will not gain anything from it and the Islamic Republic system will continue to defend its national security bravely, based on international laws and regulations."
