Tehran (IP)- The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Europe wrote in a sarcastic tweet about Europe Day: On this day, the bloc should think about its terrible performance.

Iran PressIran News: "Europe Day is an opportunity to think about the terrible results of the actions of some European claimants in the instrumental use of human rights, interference in other countries' domestic affairs, the political and instrumental use of terrorist groups, supporting the occupying Israeli regime against the Palestinian nation, and following the US inhumane sanctions against the nation of Iran," Nasser Kanaani tweeted.

Earlier, the Swedish Embassy in Tehran had also tweeted about Europe Day, citing alleged human rights violations in Iran.

The Swedish embassy tweet was retweeted by the British ambassador in Tehran and he also wrote that England supports the position of the European Union regarding the above-mentioned cases.
