Iran Press/ Africa: On Saturday night, Muslims in the Bauchi State of Nigeria held a rally waving Palestine's flags, chanting the slogans "We support Hamas," "We support Palestine," "Down with Israel," and Down with USA."
In his speech at the scene, the Head of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria in the North Eastern region of Bauchi, Sheikh Ahmad Yusuf Yashi said "Israel vowed to wipe Palestinians and extorted their whole land. As I speak to you now, the Zionists' regime is bombarding Gaza, killing women and children after the Hamas resistance group successfully conducted a retaliatory attack on the Zionist forces."
Nearly 300 Israelis have been confirmed killed and dozens of soldiers were captured by Hamas. Israel is doing nothing but destroying houses and infrastructures in Gaza instead of facing Palestinian resistance fighters."
The senior member of the Islamic Movement praised the Islamic Republic of Iran for its support towards justice which keeps Palestine existing despite decades of Israeli terrorism.
In Kano State, North West of Nigeria, supporters of Palestine took to the streets on Saturday night to praise the heroic resistance of Palestinians who humiliated Israel.
Sheikh Sunusi Abdulqadir, a representative of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky was seen distributing food to needy people in an attempt to express happiness about the success of Palestinians over their retaliation against Israel:
"Today, almost 70 years since the illegitimate state of Israel was created in the land of Palestine, America, England and other European countries extorted the land and deployed Zionists from different parts of Europe. The Zionists since then continue to expand their occupation by committing war crimes against people of Palestine".
The cleric also urged Nigerian Christians to join their Muslim counterpart in support of Palestine as the Israeli regime kills both Muslims and Christians in occupied Palestine.
On Saturday dawn, an unprecedented retaliatory attack was launched by Palestinian resistance groups on Israel; an attack combined with resistance fighters breaching security barriers in the occupied territories, and a barrage of rockets fired from Gaza which resulted in casualties for the Israeli regime.
As the Palestinian sources report, during the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood about 300 Israeli soldiers and settlers were killed and about 1,870 others were wounded.
Also, the Jerusalem Post said estimations showed 750 Israelis have gotten lost.
