Bauchi(Ip): On the beginning of Rabi ul Awwal, a month that the holy Prophet Muhammad (PBH) was born, hundreds of school children in Bauchi State and many parts of Nigeria on Thursday have marched to welcome the new month of celebrations‌and also expressed solidarity with their fellow Gaza children over the terrorist attacks of Israeli regime days and nights which killed thousands of children and their mothers.

Iran Press/Africa: The children in Bauchi, Northeastern Nigeria took to streets, carrying flags of Palestine and banners, with inscriptions "America Stop The Ongoing Genocide in Gaza," and chanted different anti Israeli slogans.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, an eith years old girl, Sabira Musa Bayi Muhammad said "As the holy month of Rabi ul Awwal begins, a month of celebrations and joy in which our beloved Prophet was born, we cannot forget our brothers and sisters in Gaza especially children.

We cry for them. Their parents are being killed by Israeli terrorist army. They don't have food to eat. Our hearts are with them and we always remember them. May Allah ease their suffering and bring an end to Israeli terrorists."Zainab Habib, another student who took part in the march talked to Iran Press about the importance of the procession.

"Actually, the significance of this procession can never be overemphasized because it is about the beginning of the month in which our holy Prophet was born. But at the current situation, our brothers and sisters in Palestine are living under terrorism of Israel. Every day children are becoming orphans and women are becoming widows in Gaza due to Israeli terrorist attacks days and nights. In Gaza, Schools were destroyed, hospitals are being destroyed, houses are being demolished by Israel.

Therefore, we thought it is important to use all means to express our dissatisfaction and anger on the United States and UNICEF who fail to stop Israeli act of murder against women and children in Palestine."The marches held in many cities were concluded without any report of attack by Nigerian security forces or takfiri terrorists.
