Iran Press/Iran News: The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps' Navy (IRGC) Rear Admiral Ali Reza Tangsiri in a meeting with Army's Navy Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi on Sunday, extended his condolences on the martyrdom of 19 Army's navy personnel.
Stressing the fact that the cooperation between IRGC and Iran's Navy is the strong and the influencing one, Rear Admiral Khanzadi stressed that the strong will and determination of Iran's defenders in Iran's Army and IRGC have always been the reason behind enemies' failure in all their threats and plots against the Islamic Republic of Iran's maritime safety.
Commemorating the memory of the of Konark ship accident's martyrs Khanzadi highlighted that these zealous and revolutionary youth, who were martyred by grace, are in fact pioneers in the field of resistance and security of the sea, who laid down their lives and voluntarily rose in this difficult and dangerous experiment with pride so that the country's security would move forward.
In this meeting, the Commander of the Revolution Guards Corps' Navy also considered the defense authority and deterrence of Islamic Iran as the fruit of the unity and integrity of the Armed Forces under the aegis of the measures and tacts of the Supreme Command in Chief.
Rear Admiral Tangsiri stated, "The flag of the martyrs of the Iranian Navy in the waters of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of ??Oman has always been raised, and the souls of the precious martyrs will surely be the guide of the Islamic Republic's navy in this ups and downs."
