Iran Press/ Iran news: The mystical ceremony of one thousand Daf players is held every year on the occasion of the birth of the prophet of Mohammad, the prophet of Islam.
With the beginning of the month of Rabi-ul-Awl, in different regions of Kurdistan province, various birth ceremonies and daf playing are held in the west of Iran, and these programs reach their peak on the 12th of the month of Rabi al-Awwal.
Rabi al-Awwal is the third month of the Islamic calendar and means the first month or beginning of spring, referring to its position in the pre-Islamic Arabian calendar.
