Iran Press/West Asia: Attending the second emergency meeting of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) and the Arab League countries over the Israeli crimes in Palestine and Lebanon on Monday in Riyadh, Mohammad Reza Aref the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran stressed that the US is the main supporter of the Zionist regime's crimes in the Gaza and Lebanon.
Aref addressed Muslim and Arab heads of state and said: " We all have a responsibility not to be silent in the face of the occupation and these crimes.
"We must remain steadfast in our agreement with the Palestinian and Lebanese people, Aref said.
Iran's first Vice President condemned the crime and genocide of the Zionist regime and emphasized the right of the Palestinian and Lebanese people to determine their destiny.
"To be indifferent and inaction in the face of Israeli crimes will cause the evil regime of Palestine occupation to continue its crime, Aref Warned.
He reminded attendees of the fact that the American government is the main supporter of the Zionist regime's crimes and said that the world is waiting for the promise of the new US government to stop the massacre of people of Gaza and Lebanon immediately.
Aref said: Silence and inaction of the international organization to Israel's crimes have invalidated all international rules and regulations for peaceful life, as well as the rules governing international relations in times of peace and conflict.
He clarified: At a time when the United Nations mechanisms are unable to end the Palestinian genocide and the large-scale killing of the Lebanese people due to the US and several Western governments' unlimited support to the occupying regime, it is our responsibility as the heads of Islamic and Arabic countries to put an end to Israeli crimes.
