Iran Press/ Iran news: Famous scholars of Pakistan describe the virtues and sufferings of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and the martyrs of Karbala.
People from different walks of life gathered in Jamia Al-Sadiq mosque to pay tribute to the great sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S) and his companions.
While talking to Iran Press a participant said, "The sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S) was the greatest in history because his mission was so great, and if we compare it with any other religion we cannot find even a single sacrifice like Imam's, not even near to him".
For the interest of the attendees, books and other religious praying related to Imam Hussain (a.s.) and Karbala are also kept, in which young people are especially interested.
A young man said that 'Imam Hussain (A.S) was a living Quran', "Quran is being insulted by others, and in response, The Quran was recited at masses in the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (A.S), I would just love to say that the martyrdom of Imam was actually the death of Yazid and Islam gets alive after Karbala", he added.
A stage is set up in the courtyard of Jami-al-Sadiq for the mourners, and even before the arrival of the Maulana, people come and sit in the nearest place.
Another attendee expressed his view to Iran Press saying, " The sacrifice of Imam Hussain (a.s) was the reason to secure the glory of Quran and the honor of Ahl al-Bayt, his blood and the sacrifice of his companions in Karbala saved the glory of Quran as well as Islam".
In his address, the scholar mentions the level of the dignity of Ahle Bait (Prophet's Progeny) and the great sacrifice of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his companions, which is the secret of the survival of Islam. The series of mourning continues till late at night, and the attendees listen to the addresses of different scholars.
