Iran Press/ Europe: Imam Hussein was martyred along with 72 of his companions during a last-stand battle of Karbala against the tyrant of the time, Yazid I, more than thirteen centuries ago.
Imam Hussein (AS) was martyred for justice and peace, for the betterment of humanity.
The ritual was held at the Imam Mehdi center (Shia mosque) with the participation of the lovers of Imam Hussein (AS).
