Iran Press/ Iran news: "We, the representatives of the great and proud nation of Islamic Iran, condemn the interventionist and ridiculous move of the European Parliament in imposing sanctions on officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran for alleged human rights violations," the statement reads.
"The European Parliament, which passed a resolution opposing the execution and protecting the criminals against Iran's national security, is the same body that has remained silent in the face of the cowardly assassination of an innocent Iranian scientist, and furthermore, it has always been a supporter of terrorists, including MKO terrorist group whose hands are stained with the blood of 17,000 defenseless Iranian citizens," he said.
"People who deliberately prevent innocent and sick Iranian children from accessing medicine and are the killers of dozens of sick Iranian children are violating the right to life, the right to health, the right to employment, the right to education, and the right to development by imposing illegal and oppressive sanctions on the Iranian nation," added the statement.
"Instead of supporting criminals, members of the European Parliament should abandon the shameless support of Western countries for Zionists, terrorists, and child-killing dictators, and abandon double standards," it concluded.
