Iran Press/ Iran News: Rahmatollah Nowruzi who represents Aliabad Katul in the parliament referred to some proposed plans of Khatib, saying: "Khatib has a brilliant background in the history of the Islamic Revolution."
He stated that Khatib is a capable person and has a career in the Ministry of Intelligence, and noted: "Khatib is knowledgeable and has served in different ranks and posts of the Ministry of Intelligence and has passed through different ranks in this ministry."
Nowruzi considered the atmosphere of the parliament favorable for the vote of confidence to the proposed Minister of Intelligence and said: "Khatib has also appeared well in the specialized commissions of the parliament."
Another lawmaker Amirgholi Jafari-Boroujeni stressed the smart fight against the mainstreams of corruption in the country as one of the main programs of the proposed Minister of Intelligence.
Protecting the country's elites, discovering and thwarting plots and espionage against national security were among the proposed ministers' programs, Jafari-Boroujeni added.
Also, the representative of Torbat Heydarieh, Mohsen Zanganeh, highlighted the good record of executive management as one of the ministerial indicators that Esmail Khatib possessed.
He said the proposed minister had been in the body of the Intelligence Ministry for 4 decades.
