Iran Press/ Iran news: The 2022 FIFA World Cup is the 22nd World Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022.
One of the most touched-on issues of the Qatar World Cup is the small extent of the country, which does not allow the accommodation of all football fans, so Iran, as a neighboring country, has announced its readiness to welcome the tourists.
With 1,648,195 square kilometers, Iran is 142 times larger than Qatar, with an area of about 11 thousand 571 km, which is slightly larger than Qom province (with 11,526 km).
The Minister of Cultural Heritage and Tourism added: "We have established a headquarters for tourism in Qatar, and if the agencies cooperate well to attract tourists, we will see the foreign tourists in the country."
Zarghami also said visas would be issued for foreign tourists arriving at the airport. Referring to Kish International Airport, the minister said: "Kish has a suitable airport, and entry does not require a visa."
