Iran Press/ Iran news: Major General Mohammad Bagheri said in the military oath ceremony of the armed forces in the Jamkaran Mosque, congratulated the Imamate of Imam Zaman (A.S.) and honoring the memory of Late Imam Khomeini and the martyrs of the revolution, the holy defense and the defenders of the holy shrines.
He said: "We are proud on such a day and in such a holy place, we renew allegiance with the "Imam of Time" and every year this ceremony will be held in the armed forces."
He stated that the people of Iran have shown that they have been loyal to "Imam Zaman" in the past 45 years, and said: "This nation was not afraid of any power in the past 45 years."
9th of Rabi ul Awwal in the Islamic calendar marks the auspicious day of the coronation of the last infallible descendant of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Imam Mahdi Montadhar, Hojjah (AS).
The Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces stated that the Islamic Revolution will be a fundamental step for the advent of Imam Zaman (PBUH), and added: "This revolution will lay the foundation for the training of righteous forces for serving Imam Zaman."
Referring to the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, he pointed out: "All the warriors of the armed forces stand and fight selflessly in all the fields and hope to be martyred."
