Iran Press/ Iran News: Abdullah Motamedi, the President of Allameh Tabatabai University, said at the ceremony that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the legacy of martyrs and efforts should be made to preserve the legacy.

He recalled that it is common in different parts of the world to honor the status of martyrs and those who strived for national and religious ideals.
According to General Soleimani National Award Festival, those who are eligible to receive the award will receive a scholarship during their studies.
On 3 January 2020, Martyr Lieutenant General Ghasem Soleimani, a late Quds Forces Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was assassinated by the US Forces while he was in Baghdad at the official invitation of the Iraqi government.
