Iran Press/Middle East: Last Wednesday, a Swedish extremist, with the support of the Swedish authorities and the police of the country, burned a volume of the Holy Quran outside the main mosque of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.
This is not the first time Sweden has repeated the desecration and norm-breaking action against Muslims in the name of freedom of speech. Last year, this norm-breaking and inhuman act was repeated in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm.
The participants in the rally, holding placards that read "Boycott Swedish goods," burned the Swedish flag.
Lebanese worshipers also set fire to the flag of the Israeli regime next to the flag of Sweden in support of the Palestinian people, especially in the city of Jenin.
Since last Monday, the Zionist forces attacked and bombarded the city and camp of Jenin from the ground and air, as a result of which 13 Palestinians were martyred, and 117 others were injured.
This brutal attack by the Israeli regime has faced a strong reaction from Islamic and Arab institutions and countries, and these countries have considered the apartheid regime's crime a clear violation of international laws and stressed the need for the international community to confront it.
On Wednesday morning, the Zionist army was forced to retreat from the Jenin camp due to the fierce resistance of the Palestinian fighters.
Meanwhile, Sweden's Minister of Justice said that the country's government is considering the adoption of a law to prevent desecration of the Holy Quran.
The move comes amid reports of increasing incidents of religious intolerance and hate crimes, particularly involving desecration of the Quran, the holy book of Islam, in several European and other countries. The issue has drawn global attention and condemnation, raising concerns over religious freedoms and societal harmony.
The incident has also damaged Sweden's bid to join NATO, with Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan saying his country cannot ratify Sweden's application before Holy Quran desecrations are stopped.
The most recent incident of desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden has sparked outrage and condemnation from around the
world.
