Iran Press/ Iran news: The 14th of Khordad 1401 on the Persian Calendar (June 4, 2022 AD) is the anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini, the Great Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Thirty-three years ago, on such a day, "Ruhollah Mousavi Khomeini," the great Leader of the Islamic Revolution, after 87 years of hard work and tireless life, passed away.
Imam Khomeini (RA) began his struggle in 1342 AH with the Shah's authoritarian regime and US intervention in Iran, and finally was exiled to Turkey and then to Iraq by the Shah's regime.
During the thirteen years of exile in Iraq, Imam Khomeini, in addition to training many students, exposed the corrupt nature of the Shah's regime and the illegitimate greed of the United States in Iran and issued enlightening proclamations, paving the way for the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Finally, after the hard struggle and the migration of the Imam to France and then his glorious return to Iran, the Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1978 reached its final victory.

After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, despite the conspiracies of the powers and internal and external enemies of the revolution, including the imposed war of the Ba'athist regime of Iraq against Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA), in the difficult conditions of that period, led the Iranian people with wisdom and courage.
