Iran Press/ Iran News: Attending a press brief on June 19, on the sidelines of the open chamber of Iran's Parliament, Mohammad-Mehdi Mofateh said: "The president's visit to three Latin American countries, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Cuba, was very important because the countries are allies in terms of international relations and confronting the US wrong policies."
He further noted: "These three countries like Iran have been sanctioned by the US, and emphasized that the countries are our international partners in human rights issues."
The official said: "Various contracts were signed by the parties; 27 economic contracts were concluded with Venezuela, six contracts with Cuba, and six trade contracts with Nicaragua."
Mofateh went on to conclude: "Venezuela has many capacities in mining field, so various contracts were signed between Iran and Venezuela in the field."
He added: "The most important economic goal in the development of relations with Venezuela is to create a trade market and to revive the energy economy."
