Iran Press/ Iran news: Enrique Mora, the Deputy Secretary-general of the European External Action Service and the coordinator of the Vienna talks, has traveled to Tehran on Saturday night.
After meeting with the Iranian Chief-negotiator Ali Bagheri-Kani on Sunday, Mora met with Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
In the meeting, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian referred to Iran's serious participation in the Vienna talks and noted that the Islamic Republic had presented the necessary initiatives to reach an agreement.
He said other parties, especially the US government, should take a realistic approach to resolve the remaining issues.
The Iranian foreign minister stated that the lack of a US political decision to lift sanctions tied to the economic benefits of the Iranian people is an obstacle to achieving the final results, and it is a top priority for Iran to enjoy full economic benefits and effectively lift sanctions.
Enrique Mora, for his part, presented a report on the latest state of the negotiations and his assessment of the way forward.
