Iran Press/ Iran news: The eighth round of talks in Vienna, which began on February 8 in the Austrian capital with the focus on lifting the oppressive and illegal sanctions against Iran, entered a break for the second time on March 11.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, as a responsible country, has repeatedly stated that given that the United States has been a party to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action violation (JCPOA), it is Washington that must return to the agreement with the lifting of sanctions, and that the US commitments must be verified.
According to Iran press; Seyed Kamal Kharazi, chairman of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations of Iran at Doha Forum 2022, noted that the US withdrawal from the JCPOA reduced the level of implementation of Iran's commitments under the agreement, even after Obama and during Trump and quitting the agreement by him, Europeans did nothing to solve the problems.
Kharazi added that they promised to have specific rules in European law to protect European companies from secondary sanctions, but did nothing; They started INSTEX, but it didn't work.

The head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations also said in response to whether he believed that Washington was removing the IRGC from the list of terrorist organizations, that the IRGC should be removed from that list, and that this was not the only problem; more than 500 Iranian institutions and individuals are under US sanctions, some of which have a direct impact on Iran-West relations.
Kharazi stressed that the Revolution Guards Corps is a national army which should not be considered a terrorist group. It is very important for Iranians that the IRGC be removed from the list; but this is not the only issue, there are other issues as well, including guarantees and other issues.
