Iran Press/ Iran news: The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the large-scale military attacks of the United States and the United Kingdom inside the territory of Yemen last night and added:
"Such arbitrary and adventurous attacks are outside the internationally recognized rules and principles and violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Yemen."
According to Iran press Nasser Kanaani said on Sunday: "Us and Britain once again proved that they are full supporters of the war crimes and genocide of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and they consider the commitment to the security and illegitimate interests of the occupying and criminal Zionist regime to be ahead of international peace and security. And in order to ensure the security of the regime, they violate all moral and humanitarian principles as well as international laws and regulations and the United Nations Charter."
The spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs further added: "With such attacks, the United States and Britain are accused of genocide in order to escalate tension and crisis in the region, expand the scope of war and instability, divert public opinion from the war crimes of the Zionist regime, and buy time for the continuation of the war crimes of this regime."
Kanaani added:" Instead of taking effective and immediate action to eliminate the main cause of insecurity and instability, which is the Zionist regime's warmongering and the daily killing of hundreds of Palestinian people, including women and children, they launched military attacks on a country that is trying to somehow put pressure on this murderous regime and stop its killing machine."
Iran's Top Diplomat further emphasized: "Surely, this kind of arbitrary and aggressive military operation will not achieve anything for these aggressor countries, except for the aggravation of insecurity and instability in the region."
According to this report, the American Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Sunday morning that the American coalition with British forces bombarded 18 targets in Yemen.
According to Yemeni officials, the US coalition attacks were carried out in Sana'a and Taiz provinces.
