Iran Press/ Africa: The program held on Sunday evening in Bauchi State included Qur'anic recitation, mourning song, supplications, and a paper presentation.
In her paper presentation, Hamidah Tayyib, a young girl from Jaish Qasem Soleimani said: "In a world filled with injustice, oppression, and inequality, General Qasem Soleimani's legacy challenges us to reevaluate our values, principles, and actions.
His life demonstrates that true leadership is not about personal gain or recognition, but about serving others, standing up for justice, and fighting for the oppressed. As we honor General Soleimani's memory, we must also recognize the responsibility that falls upon us. We are called to follow in his footsteps, strive for justice and humanity, and positively impact the world.
"Professor Isa Hassan Mshalgaru from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria was the special guest at the event. He delivered a speech on the life of Qassem Soleimani, his contributions to the world, and his martyrdom.
In an exclusive interview with him after the program, Professor Hassan Mshalgaru said Qassem Soleimani's works are not limited only to Iran or the Middle East region, but Africa included. He noticed that If not because of martyr Soleimani, ISIS terrorists would have reached African countries like Nigeria. "Qasem Soleimani has impacted Africa so much. He prevented the hegemony of the West from achieving their ambitions in both West Asia and Africa. If not for Qassem Soleimani's defeat of ISIS and Al Qaeda and the rest of them, the Middle East would not have been what it is today.
America's new design of the Middle East is not possible due to Qassem Soleimani. They had a new design, they wanted to restructure the Middle East, to make it what they wanted it to be, but because of the presence of Soleimani, these Ambitions were not achieved. And the same thing they could have done in Africa. Because of the works Qassem Soleimani did, it has placed a stop to it.
"The senior University Professor however mentioned how Lebanon's Hezbollah, Ansarullah of Yemen, Iraqi Popular Mobilization Unit, and Palestine's Hamas and Islamic Jihad resistance fighters stopped the spread of joined Israeli-American terrorism in the world, emphasizing that all these are part of Qasem Soleimani's works.
