Tehran (IP)- On the eve of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini's demise and the anniversary of the "15th Khordad" movement, Iran's first vice president wrote on Instagram: Imam Khomeini trusted the people everywhere and always gave them a role.
Ishaq Jahangiri added: June is the month of memories, epics, and events (for Iran). Every day of this month is a chapter in our history. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini, and the day after tomorrow is the anniversary of the "15th Khordad" movement.
Jahangiri stated: "On that bloody day, the nation understood the nature and depth of the regime's dependence and tyranny, and on this glorious day, they conveyed their Imam with love and tears."
The First Vice President stated: "This year (because of the Coronavirus), we will inevitably cherish his memory in a different manner and will not forget his thoughts and ideas."
