Iran Press/ Middle East: The Israeli sources reported on Sunday a 30-year-old Israeli soldier set fire to himself in Netanya city in the occupied territories of Palestine.
As the regime's sources say, the soldier suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder 9 years ago due to the difficult conditions he experienced in the 2014 Israeli war on Gaza.
The soldier who committed suicide is in severe condition.
Since July 7, 2014, when the Israeli regime launched a war on Gaza Strip, which took 51 days, 2,322 Palestinians lost their lives, and 11,000 others were wounded.
The news about the Israeli troops' self-immolation came as, in recent months, the Israeli regime's media have been reporting an increase in the number of suicides among various ranks of the regime's army
They also have reported numerous cases of male commanders and soldiers assaulting female soldiers in the Israeli military units.
Herzl "Herzi" Halevi, the Chief of General Staff of the Israel Occupation Forces (IOF), addressed the issue of suicide among the army forces in May and assessed the situation as threatening.
The Israeli TV Kan 11 reported Halevi's order to develop a plan to stop the phenomenon by allocating more funds and human services.
