Tehran (IP) - Iran's foreign ministry spokesman said that the Israeli regime is trying to spread the crisis from within to other surrounding areas.

Iran PressIran news: Nasser Kanaani in his weekly presser said: "In the past few days, we have seen some incidents in Palestine. Despite the internal crises and social-political divide in the occupied lands, the Israel regime is trying to spread the crisis from within to other surrounding areas and its actions in the West Bank, Syria and the insult to Al-Aqsa Mosque showed that the regime will spare no effort to pursue its crimes."

Kannani also said: "The Leader in his two speeches in Tehran and Mashhad had some recommendations for the Foreign Ministry, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will try to implement the leader's recommendation to increase the initiative in the new year."

The ministry will pay special attention to mobility and activity and maximum exploitation of opportunities in the world and implement the recommendations with maximum effort," he added.

Despite the efforts made by some parties to create problems in Iran's foreign policy, we have passed a year full of successes both in the field of relations in the region and with countries outside the region, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman said.

Iran ready to play facilitating role in Yemeni negotiations

Kanaani in his remarks went on to say that Iran had played an effective and positive role in negotiations between Yemeni parties and will play its facilitating role where ever it seems necessary.

Iran, and Saudi Arabia resuming ties to affect all regional states

In response to a question about the exact time of the opening of the embassies and consulates of Iran and Saudi Arabia, Kanaani stated that based on the joint agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia in Beijing, official relations between the two countries were practically established and to activate the relations and activities of the embassies and political and consular missions of the two countries, executive measures were taken and it was agreed that the delegations of the two countries will immediately leave for the opposite country, and in this regard, the Saudi delegation is now present in Iran, and the Iranian delegation will leave for Saudi Arabia in the next two or three days.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs further said about the impact of Iran-Saudi Arabia relations on the region: "The bilateral agreements between Iran and Saudi Arabia to resume bilateral relations will definitely have positive effects in strengthening cooperation to increase peace, stability, and security and strengthen economic and commercial relations not only between the two countries but also among all regional states."

Iran, Iraq to expand transportation ties

Kanaani also said about the visit of the Iraqi Minister of Transportation to Tehran: "The trip was in line with the cooperation between the two countries in the field of transportation. The agreement is to establish a railway line from Shalamcheh to Basra."

 Islamic countries should prevent Israeli regime from abusing political opportunities

Nasser Kanaani, at his weekly press conference and in response to Iran Press's question regarding the recent unrest in the occupied Palestinian territories and the issuance of the statement of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Organization, added: "The role of the international community in supporting the Palestinian people is necessity."

He pointed out: "Muslim countries have a more serious and important role in the Palestinian issue. The role of Islamic countries in supporting the Palestinian nation is decisive and important, both politically and by helping in international forums."

Kanaani added: "The existence of the Israeli regime is a threat to the stability and security of the region. The Palestinian people are at the forefront of the fight against the regime that has been exporting terrorism to all the countries in the region."
